Who we are

Hey, I'm ​Angelina Quinn, a fully qualified Senior Stylist and salon director with over a decade of experience in the hair industry. I have been part of award-winning teams at salons throughout the Wellington region, however I am now working out of my new professionally fitted and furnished salon from my home property in Waikanae Downs, Wellington.

 I offer my clients full hair services in a warm and friendly environment where they can relax and benefit from the personal consultation approach I take, while getting away from the hustle and bustle of town life and unwind in a semi rural quiet scenic setting.

I am constantly up-skilling and educating myself in the latest industry research and techniques.
I am passionate about being actively involved in all aspects of my profession and really love what I do.

Seeing the happiness and satisfaction in my clients when I bring out the best in their hair is what motivates me. My artistry and expertise ensures this happens each and every time they visit.

Hey, I’m Mel!

I’m currently training to become a certified hairdresser, and I have a deep passion for the beauty industry, especially when it comes to all things fashion and styling. I find joy in experimenting with new looks and staying up to date with the latest trends.

What excites me the most is connecting with clients, learning from each experience, and growing both professionally and personally. I love creating personalized styles that make people feel their best and building long-lasting relationships with my clients along the way. As I continue to hone my skills, I’m excited to grow my own clientele and make a positive impact in the industry.

Hi, I’m Jorja!

I’ve been in the hair industry for 18 years, and I am so happy to be renting a space here at Hair Mode. After working independently for a short while after the birth of my daughter, I missed the energy of a team. It's great to be back in a salon vibe working alongside Ange and Mel.

​Ange and I actually worked together over 10 years ago, so reuniting feels incredibly familiar and comfortable. I love hearing my clients say that coming into this space feels like a 'retreat', it’s exactly the atmosphere I want to create for you. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me spending time with my friends, family, and my four year old daughter.
